Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

About a week ago, during a phone conversation, he said he requested a marriage packet. I figured he was joking just trying to get a reaction out of me, but I told him I would marry him anyday

Then yesterday when I got home from work I got a letter from him. Hes at a fire camp, so his first talk about marriage was...."who knows, you might be married to a fire fighter someday :P huh huh".....well I guess that got the ball rolling because then he says..."Baby how do you feel about getting married? Im not saying right now while Im in priosn, but after I parole. I know its kind of bull shit asking you in a letter, but will you marry me Tracy? I think we will wrinkle real well together. So what do you say, wanna tie the knot? I'll let you think about that question, Im serious though, I want you to be my wife"..............I realize this isnt the best proposal, but YES!!! YES I want to marry him. I also want him to get down on one knee with a ring and formally ask me when he gets out. So in the meantime, should I consider myself engaged? EEEEEEEEEEEE <3<3<3 I should be elated, Ive always wanted the fairytale, Im a dreamer and believer baby. Maybe it hasnt sunk in yet????

Congratulations!
Tell him that you will give it serious consideration,right after he does his fairy tale style proposal.Tell him he has some time to think on that lol.

Engagements mean that you and he have agreed to marry. I think you did that.

Yeah you want the ritual of becoming engaged to be different, but fairytales are rewritten all the time.... This could be one of the best ever written. Go with it!

Hooray!!!!!!!!!! You are officially engaged now!!! I'm ecstatic for you. Maybe not the best proposal but I would take it. lol. It is still very sweet of him anyway. Maybe he just coldnt help himself and had to ask. But yes, once he knows you said yes then i would definately start calling him your fiance.

Congrats! You can still have the formal proposal when he gets out if you want. Why not? Enjoy!

I like to think that he just couldn't hold it in any longer!! I don't think it was half-assed by any means, and I'm sure he knows that it wasn't the "ideal" situation. I'm sure once he gets out, he'll do it on his knee to make his princess feel like a queen. But he probably couldn't help himself and was too excited to get it out, and wanted to officially hear you say that he is yours and you are his alone. I must admit, I did a little "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!" myself when I read your post. We don't know each other personally, but I am feeling that excitement for you as if we were BFFs lol. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
