Default Letter for early release

Hello, I was reading the great outline that was shared for loved ones to write to the parole board. That took some time and I am sure will help many people, great job!!! My son is doing 3 years with no mandatory time, he has served 139 days so far in prison but a total of 471 days because of his time credit in jail and a treatment facility. From what I understand due to the amount of time he has he will never have a parole hearing but can file for judicial release after 6 months. I think his chances of judicial are very slim because the judge was disgusted with him when he failed at the treatment facility he offered so he gave him the 3 years which was the same as he gave the other guy involved in the crime who did ALOT more than my son (my son basically observed the crime). Plus Clark County has a reputation of ignoring judicial release requests. My question is, does anybody know of any other early release attempts that he could try for or anywhere else we could write a letter. His crime was prior to House Bill 86 so he doesn't get that extra time credit.
Thanks!!

I've been looking for something similar and it figures Clark County is where he arrested :/ I've been hearing horrible things about the judges and judicial release the past few months.

How do you start the process for a JR and what are the fees?
and who qualifies? I've heard a lot of different versions but any information would be helpful

Your son can try to file a motion for sentence reduction / sentence modification to see if he can get some time knocked off. You never know the chances of the JR would be until you try it, my dude realized he was doing it wrong because he forgot to put something in there.. I have it if you would like to see an example of it, and it actually helped him. I know also he can try to enter programs, and each month he completes a program it will knock days off his sentence.
