Default Health and illness

Feel so sorry for DeeDee! I am doing about as much obsessing about my son too. My husband and I have been married 39 yrs. my boy was 4. He used to tell kids that he was lucky, because HE had TWO dads!

My hubby HS a rare kidney cancer, and has outlived the prediction by 1-1/2 yrs! But he gets a chemo infusion at the ca center EVERY week! Monday makes 108 times! My sons father is slowly going blind, and I am fighting Atrial Fib, watching out for reoccurring brain tumor I had removed, the list goes on. Us three parents have bonded like you wouldn't believe! We are instantly in touch! My ex paid his bail, taxes, goes to all three lawyers, and takes money every month! He visits our son weekly, we all send him books, letters, collect calls daily if he wants and can! If one of us doesn't hear from him, we call the other one!

We are 65, 71 & 81 yrs in all.

My sons divorce has been SO ugly, and his wife SO vindictive, that he is thinking, his parents divorce and HIS life, was pretty darned good! God bless his heart!

Hang in there everybody! I'm still waiting for the Zoloft to kick in!

Spiffy heart

God Bless you~ when faced with life altering events we can either curl up in a ball and let everything fall apart or we can make the best of it and look for the Blessings. You sure have a lot going on but I can tell you are still counting those Blessings! When my son was arrested and then sentenced I about went over the edge, I honestly don't know what kept me from going over it except I knew my son needed me. As soon as I started counting those Blessings I started to feel better, we all need to remember this. Prayers for you and yours.
