A Delaware Family Court judge will lose his job in November -- but not his $85,000-a-year pension -- after a state panel disciplined him for pursuing "an inappropriately close social relationship" with a young female attorney who regularly appeared in his Sussex County courtroom.
Judge John E. Henriksen, 63, will be removed from his job Nov. 2, one day after he becomes fully vested in his state pension, according to an order released Monday by the state Court on the Judiciary.
