Spoke to DOC today about good time..

-180 days max for good time.
-10 days for every credit hour.
-1/2 of the days come off of the release date. So if you get 3 creedit hours that's 30 days but only 15 days come off the release date.
-It can be any educational accredited college program in the USA.
-There is no list of college's that you can attend.

So my question is what are some accredited college's you can attend to get credit hours that come through the mail so the inmates can complete them? And also the cheapest ones?

LSU has correspondence courses. My fiancé is now enrolled in them. It's $403 per course (3 credit hours) and you can request that all needed booklets & lessons are print-based instead of web-based.

Why do they only take off half of the earned days? That doesn't make any sense.
