Late Intro

I've been a member of the site since January, but never posted an introduction, so I'm doing it now.

My name is Brandy. I'm 29 years old. My fiance' Michael is currently incarcerated at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center also known as 940. He was arrested on July 16,2011, actually we both were, on 11 felony counts. He pled guilty to manufacturing meth on October 24 and took a sentence of 10 years @ 30% in order to get the DA to let me out with a misdemeanor. I served 4 months in 940 while pregnant with our child and was released on time served and one year probation. Our daughter, who is the youngest of 7 beautiful children, is now 5 months old and is healthy, happy, and beautiful. I'm currently waiting impatiently for my man to get out and come home to us. His safety valve date is currently in November of this year, but moves up about a 21 days every month. We are hoping he will go up in October of this year and be able to get a commuted sentence to a rehab center.

I really don't know what else to say, except that I have become extremely good at calculating time lol. I have his RED date perfect with TDOC. That's all i got. I wish everyong good luck and hope time goes by fast.

Welcome to PTO! Good luck I hope your man is able to get into a program and comes home to you and your family soon! I was curious since you're such a expert at calucating time could help me figure out my baby time? He was given a 5yr sentence @ 30% here in Davidson county, a 4yr sentence @ 30% in Sumner county and a 2yr sentence @ 30% for another charge he got before being arrested on this current charge with he received the 5 and the 4 on. All the sentences were ran concurrent and I talk to another lady on who was real helpful and she was thinking with the good time they get each month he should be home around this time next year. I hope so I just miss him so much and just want him home already! I appreciate any help you can give me with trying to fiqure this out. Thanks!

he's already completed a GED program and is currently in RU. He is also a trustee so he's getting the most time possible, which is awesome.

As far as your man's time goes...when was he originally arrested? How many good days does he get a month? Since all of the sentences are running concurrent, the only one you'll need to calculate is the longest. 5 years @ 30 % is 1.5 years or 548 days but that's without good days. If they are all felony offenses you can check FOIL for his RED date. It will update every month on the 27th. I can't post the link but you can get it off the TDOC website.

Congrats on your fiance getting his GED and being in RU. I wish my baby could become a trustee the more time he could get off his sentence the better. So to answer your questions he was arrested on 01/04/11 he was at CJC until the end of August or the beginning of September then he was sent out to CCA. I actually just called out there and talked to his counsler and she couldn't tell about my baby's good time, but she was able to tell they get 6 or 10 a month depending on what level they are and she said she had to see him tomorrow anyway and she would tell how many days he's getting and he can then tell me so I hoping it's the 10, but we'll take what we can get! He had mailed me something awhile back that the counsler had gave him trying to caluate when he might come home and it did nothing, but confuse me even more! It was saying sometime in July of next year and he said he was talking to someone else in there and they said it should really be about this time next year. So I don't know what to think anymore! I just wish I knew already an date of when he was coming home already! Oh and I forgot to mention I just find out to that the final decison from parole board come back and they also denied him and put off till 05/13. So I just hope he's home by then or close to coming home by then! Sorry this is so long I just had to get this off my chest! if the parole board put him off again until 5/13 then that's when he will go up again. Fortunately, that's this time next year which is what you were told it would be. Wait to see what his counselor says, but if the parole board said 5/13 then that's when he goes up. He can still accumulate good time and it will come off the back end, so it will still benefit him.

Well after talking to my baby yesterday. He said he talk to someone in there and with the 2 for 1 and the good time they get he should be home sometime in March no later than May so I'm hoping they're right because at this point I just want him home sooner than later! He talks to his counsler today and hopefully she can give him a more clear understanding of all the good time and 2 for 1 mess so we can know for sure when he'll be home. I'll be sure to let you know what I find out. Thanks again for all your help!
