Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Privately owned facilities - do they have access to CorrLinks, etc.

We all know how hard it is to find out information about the privately owned facilities so I have a few questions about them that I hope someone might have an answer to.

Does anyone know if the privately owned facilities use CorrLinks as the "regular" BOP facilities do?

I'd like to know the same for the phone system. Do they transfer money from their commissary accounts to a phone account or use a different system similar to State and County? Do they have a separate lock box or does their money get sent to Iowa as well?
