My fiance is in prison and has to have surgery on his face. They ended up giving him his cr date how do u go about an appeal and medical parole???

you get a lawyer for the appeal. The window of opportunity for direct appeal is short. A skilled post conviction lawyer MAY find grounds that could lead to an appeal. Of course, that won't happen for about 2 years.

You can look up information on compassionate discharge in your state. That's not going to be quick, either, without a life and death sort of situation.

Prisons take care of many ill people so if death not soon, chances for release are slim.
