Default Do you answer his calls at the doctor's office?

For those of you who can get calls on your cell, have you ever gotten a call while at the doctors? Did you answer it? And if you haven't had this happen, what would you do if you did get a call while at the doctors? I know phones are supposed to be on silent but what if you forgot, and then his ringtone goes off? And you know he won't be able to call again for days.
I had an appointment tomorrow for the female doctor but rescheduled it for a non call day cuz I was scared I would miss my call. lol

The only place where I've gotten a call that I couldn't answer was in church, but the pastor knows my situation and told me to just quietly excuse myself if he called because they understood that he can't call often. I'm not sure what I would do if I was at the doctor's office when he called because I don't want to be rude, but at the same time, those calls are important to me.

I've never had this happen to me but if it did I would answer it but I always have my phone on viberate when at place like the doctors office and in my hands so I would be able to take it and not miss it because I would feel it viberate.

One time I was at the gyno's for a biopsy(I've had cervical cancer) my husband called while I was on the table waiting for the doctor to come in. I took the call for a few mins because I knew he was calling to wish me well and let me know he was thinking of me. Another time I was getting some skin cancer removed and he called for the same reason. Usually tho I try to plan appointments so they don't interfere with whatever I have going on,whether it be the doctor or something else.

This happens to me often because I'm in my 3rd trimester and I have appointments out the ying Yang. Usually, I let him know the day before what time ill be done so he don't call while I'm in there. But when I forget to tell him and he calls, if I know I have 15 minutes before I see the doctor ill answer. If I'm with the doctor I let it go to voicemail and he calls until he reaches me.

Every day brings me one day closer to you....<3

Well when I made the appointment I knew it was a call day but I wasn't too worried about it. But then I started having this feeling that he was going to call during my appointment and I didn't want that so I changed it to a non call day.

I've gotten a call at he gyno before. I told him real sweetly I couldn't talk right this second b.c the dr was in. I still got to tell him that I love him, so it was so worth it.

I once got a call while I was sitting on the exam table waiting for the doc to come in and perform a pap smear. I answered. But we didn't talk long. Considering the circumstances he knew it'd be better to call another time.

If I were in that situation, I would switch my appointment, too! We're very lucky that he can call any day, as long as he has minutes, so I get a call just about daily. I let him know that kinda thing, though, so he knows not to call at a certain date and time. I would answer and say "At doctor. Call in twenty."

I took his call lying in bed in the emergency room once. I even made the doctor wait to talk to me so I could say goodbye before hanging up. Wrong I know.

Well I was totally wrong! My appointment was at 2:15 and he didn't call til 5. So I would have had plenty of time. But I didn't want to take any chances. One time I did have an appointment at 3 for something else but decided not to go and he ended up calling so I was right that time. Oh well, I rescheduled for Tuesday.

i used to answer the phone ANYWHERE & everywhere. (i say used to cause he's home) but yea i didn't care. if i had something to do one day, he usually knew. & if he called & i couldn't talk i would just let him know when to call back.

Well no matter what I'm doing I answer cuz it's not a guarantee when he can call. Sometimes we don't get our 3 calls a week so if he calls, I AM ANSWERING! I don't care if I'm in school, I answer! And I have answered while in school. I just didn't want the doctor to be like examining me and then I answer my phone during lol

One time my friend called while I was in class about to take a final exam. It had been about a month since he was able to call so I stepped out and answered! I told him I was about to take a final and he said he could call back later.

That's only my FRIEND though...when my love calls, it's definitely a no-brainer as far as answering..wherever I am.
I was at my brothers 8th grade luncheon and in the middle of a conversation between my brothers mom and myself...he (my love) called. I stopped her in mid sentence and left out to take that 30 minute call!! Lol

My boyfriend called well I was at work yesterday. He knows not call during work hours because I talk on the phone most of my day at work. So I dont have a job where I drop everything and can take his call. I hate missing his calls because I never want him to stress. Sometimes on the days when the phone is out of money it can be like a mini vacation because I dont have to worry about it. I cant seem to get my guy on a calling schedule because he is an ass!!! It drives me nuts when I am in the middle of checking out at a store or at the doctor. I would just put it on silent so I wouldnt hear I was missing a call. Its just a hard thing because you never know when they will call so you can plan your day around being able to chat

I don't have any service when I'm at a medical facility but if I did I would answer it. I always answer no matter what.

I always have reception at the doctor's. Now the hospital on the other hand I don't. When I went to the hospital the other day for his mom's surgery I was freaking out because I wasn't getting reception. But I finally found a spot where I got 1 bar lol and I didn't dare move it!

Right now he only calls wednesday nights so it doesnt really matter. When we do get more calls and if he does call me and doesnt get me he just calls bk later. I highly doubt I would answer his call if i was out and about doing something important. There is a time and place for everything.

Wow January? Sorry to hear that. I could not go that long without talking to him! Of course if he had never called me from prison we wouldn't be in a relationship right now. When he got sent to prison in January I wrote a few times but he didn't write back. Then at the end of March I was sitting there with my boyfriend & this weird # calls. Turns out it was Jesse. I started putting $ on the phone, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I dumped my dumb ass hippie boyfriend. (:

It does not matter what Im doing, when my LO calls me I answer the phone. I remember I declined the call on accident one day; I almost had a heart attack!
I believe that the situation is enough of a reason to answer the phone. I am blessed to work at a place that doesn’t care if we talk on the phone. So i have never been put in that situation.
