Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

So I've been getting a little anxiety. My boyfriend was recently moved 6 hours away and I can't see him like I would before. Once every 6 months due to work and money. Well for the next 3 weeks our calls are going to be hit and miss due to him doing orientation during the day and me working evenings and me working another job for 2 weeks starting next week. How do you ladies do it with your men being so far away and no phone calls. I'm getting pretty emotional and would like some pointers. Please.

Im going through the same thing, my LO is in a different state and I cant recieve phone calls. This has been the hardest time for me. All I can do is keep busy, and whenever I feel like talking to him I pull out my phone and start writing him.

There no easy way to deal with it, i look forward to receiving my letters in the mail its very hard so i keep myself extra busy through out the day. My husband has been in the hole for a year no phone calls or visits

Okay check keep busy =( I will be. I'm going to be working so much its not gonna be funny. But I'm also so used to him coming to see me everyday while I'm working the county fair. =( I know ill get a lot of mail and what not but its still making me all crazy and emotional. And 6 hours. Its 245 for the cheapest hotel by there for 2 nights! Its nuts! I'm going next month with the extra money from working the fair I just hope ill be able to afford it again.

Yea the city can be expensive, maybe check and see if they have a hospitality house near by.

Well he's not far like yours but life hasn't allowed me to visit in a while..and we always been fine because we talked a lot and kept him sane.. but since he's been in the box for just over a month now its been tough.. depending on letters sucks but I know its him hurting and all more.. because the obvious reasons..
My kids keep me busy and all I guess why I'm not as down as I thought? I have lots of patience.. and know things are out of my control.. I love and miss him, wish I could just go and bring his ass home!

He's not in the city the city would be closer he's all the way up by the canadian border =( I could do the city in a day trip with no problem that's only 3 to 4 hours away.

We don't have children together. all I have is my work but I am a home health aide so I have a lot of down time. It just sucks. I've never been apart from him like this and its starting to get to me. I mean they are so cruel! I wish they could atleast call the cell phones. Something! But now and I will be working close to 20 hour days soon between the 2 jobs its a nightmare.

Usually the more hotels the lower the rate. But who knows. I just find that ridiculous it being the lowest price on hotels.

Well atleast you'll be busy working.. maybe it'll help pass time.. and keep your mind off him (probably not lol)

Yup it is ridiculous! And its an econo lodge and that's with my aaa discount! There was one other hotel for 99 a night but it looked discusting in the pictures!
