Hi my name is Amber! I wanted to properly introdue myself as ive commented on quite a few posts already!

I first found this site when i was looking up information regarding the jail my boyfriend was in at the time and this site popped up and i would look through and read posts but never thought to sign up for it, I felt so alone and like no one understood what i was going through for the longest time! then i joined and read more and more of peoples posts on here and it drew me in seeing the support everyone had for one another and the fact that I really WAS NOT alone!

So a bit about me! I am 25 soon to be 26, I have a 7 year old daughter who is my entire existance(along with my boyfriend). My boyfriend got locked up on June 13th 2012... he has a short sentence (feels like forever to me) but compared to 90% of the people on here his sentence is a breeze. He will be out as of October 13th if he doesnt make parole! I find out when his Parole hearing is next week.. In the 4 years that i have been with him this is the longest we have ever been apart! My boyfriend is a reovering alcoholic who has had a few relapses and his last relapse he ended up where he is now.

I have a huge amount of respect for the girls and boys on here that have been waiting years and have years left to go before their loved ones get out! You guys have my up most support always!

I would love to talk to more people on here so if you see my thread, stop by introdue yourself to me and tell me your story!

Thank you for welcoming me, i am so sorry that your LO is in for life, i couldnt imagine how you are feeling about that, i have respect for the woman on here standing by their men with long sentences! If I could take away your pain and his i would... if you ever need to talk doesnt even have to be about prison im all ears hun!
