Exclamation Federal system

The one I love is trapped in the federal system. They sent him 2000 miles away. Makes it real hard to try to work on an appeal.

I work to keep people out of the federal prison system, making punishment fit the crime. I use to have a loved one in the system - entered on a 10 yr sentence w/ government wanting 17 yrs - did 3.4 years @ Nellis. Our faith and persistance and my legal arguments got the early release. This inspiration has allowed me to continue helping many others get reduced time. Joy Brinton

How long ago did he start his time at that 2000 mile away joint? Is it 2000 miles away from the court of jurisdiction also? You may be able to get him moved.

My love is in a Federal prison as well. His releasedate is 2012.
Maybe with his current appeal it will get less.
No matter how is will turn out, I will wait for him.

Sorry to hear your story, Dan.
I'm sure Cupid will find you one day!
Probably when you least expect it to happen.

Take care!

My husband was sentenced to 27 months with one month done so far....It feels like forever. Hopefully it will pass quickly. Luckily he is only 3 hours away so when money is there we go to visit. He's in a camp which seems really nice so far. Everyone that I have met either fellow inmate or employee has been helpful and polite. Can't wait to start life again.

They've got my husband as well. 11 years down and 14 to go. Hopefully we can get back into court soon and get him a resentencing trial. We've won 3 appeals since he's been down and this last one is the one that really counts. If we win this one it could knock off as much as 9 years from his sentence.

My man is doing 12 months then they'll deport him. You girls are lucky...you get your man back...

The FBOP will directly transport him to the INS WITHOUT telling us where they'll send him on his release date.
