Can someone please help me i'm being sentenced wednesday and i have no idea what to expect. I am honestly scared to death because i do not know what to expect since this is my first time going to prison. My charge is sexual interference and i plea bargained to get the lesser sentence. My lawyer told me that the judge set the cap at 6 months. if i get sentenced to 6 months how soon can i expect to be out and would i be safer in p.c or general pop because of the charges. I was also told by a few people that because of the charge that the guards are going to make my life hell and center me out, And also the other prisoners are going to give me a hard time and that i should be really careful because i may end up raped beaten or even killed. Please help me hopefully put my mind at ease at least just a little. I can't eat or sleep because i am so worried. I have a friend in prison right now and he said he's putting the word out in there to look out for me and keep me safe. What's the odds of me getting sent to the same prison as him. I'd feel alot more at ease if i could serve at the same prison as him. Please help me out with any information

hello im also from canada. I would think that pc is safer for you. Just be carefull is what you say or do. they most likely would not put you with a friend, they try and seperate friends unless you dont tell them you have a friend there and ask to go to that prison. Im sorry that im not all that helpfull to you. good luck and hope you come back on well your gone. or you could let someone post updates on you well your gone.

I have 1 day of freedom left i get sentenced wednesday october15th, and i'm so worried about what's going to happen

If there is a danger to your safety, you will be put into segregation. If you are sentenced to 6 months you can expect to be out earliest 2 months, but for sure at the 4 month mark. Don't talk to anyone about what you did, remain anonymous and don't break weak, that's all. I wouldn't worry too much, because it isn't going to help you more or any less.
