This facility is operated by 6 counties in the SW region of North Dakota. It is at the present a minimum to medium security facility. It is a converted Catholic school located in New England, ND. They are near or at capacity and having financial problems. They are operating on a 2 year contract with the state. The staff they had for addiction councilling quit enmass when the facility started requiring procedural changes that were not in line with treatment needs.

does the new england womens correctional Facility offer to inmates access to computers to go on line to talk to family memebers or go to prison talk ect. I have a sister whom recently went in an i would really like to be able to talk with her, she has alot of problems I am not glad shes there , but i feel it will help her become a better person, just wondering if there was other ways of contact besides mail.??? by the way thanks for the address so i can send to her letters

yes make sure you let them know what your email address is when you send them a letter. They will be able to send you a request to sign up so that you can send them email through a secure system called jpay. if you google jpay you will get the site. you probably wont be able to send them anything until they send you a request email first though.
