Default Had my surgery yesterday
Im' not sure Im' posting this is the right area but I just wanted to let those know who have been supportive through here that I had my hysterectomy yesterday.Thank God for my laptop and wirless internet!!I think I would go CRAZY sitting up here doing nothing.My oldest brought my laptop up last night.I just wanted to let you know that the surgery went good,I'm a little sore but was up walking ( slowly) earlier.I should be able to go home on sunday.

Hope everything goes well - i am not looking forward to having one of those ever - i really hope i never have to have one - i have to have mouth surgery on friday and i am not even looking forward to that. Hope you feel better real soon and that you are back on feet in no time. I also hope your man is feeling more okay with this now.

I'm glad things went well. I had my hysterectomy 4 years ago and I remember how it felt well!

Be sure to do everything the doctor tells you to do and if they say don't do something please listen to them!

That is really great news. So glad to hear from you, although I must admit when I had mine there was no way I could have been online so soon. Too much pain for me. Laptops are wonderful though and it seems that it must be just what the Dr ordered.

Take good care of yourself and as Mrs D said, do everything the Dr tells you.

Glad you are getting to come home on Sun, hopefully anyway.

I remember my mum having one of these - I'm glad you're awake and online again and I hope you keep feeling better.


Can I add my voice to the 'please dont try to do too much too soon' chorus ? I appreciate you may hate being stuck in bed - but trust me on this one......

thanks for the well wishes.I got to talk to LT last night.Before I left home tuesday morning to come up here for surgery I had all my calls forwarded to my cell.He said he wanted to call Tuesday and see how I was but thought I might be out of it.He was glad that everything went good, sorry that he was being a butthead( my words, not his.. he said something else..LOL) and that he loves me and the kids and we get through this together.And maybe they will let us adopt, even though he knows it's a slim chance.

And my 16 year old is whining like crazy....Because all the calls are forwarded up here, and she isn't getting the calls at home from all her friends....I just told her to be quiet.and call them instead.THat dang phone is glued to her head!!


Oh and I did get my butt chewed by the nurses aned my hubby last night...I was doing work on my laptop.I have this thing about unfinished work.I was tryng to finish writing a software program and they were telling me to rest.But i was bored...
